Day 10 already! It is the last day of the course, oh no! What else will I have that will motivate me to write something everyday? I suppose I can motivate myself but where’s the fun in that? (Joking.) It is the last day and to give it a last hurrah we are to write a sonnet. Here’s my attempt at the Shakespearean sonnet (minus the apostrophe)..if I mess up, please haunt me ghost of Shakespeare! And when you do, maybe I can have a ghostly autograph? Or maybe we can take a selfie?
Avian Words
Flight is freedom in its purest form.
To dance with the clouds which follow a storm;
To roll and glide, to wheel and spin,
To feel the joy that swells within.
To leave the earth with its troubles and fly,
And know the warmth of a clear spring sky;
Then back to earth at the end of the day,
Released from the tensions which melted away.
Should my end come when I am in flight,
Whether brightest day or darkest night;
Spare me no pity and shrug off the pain,
Secure in the knowledge that I’d do it again.
For each of us is created to die,
And within me I know I was born to fly.
This may be my last poem for the Writing 201 course but it won’t be my last poem! I’ll be working on some more poems and other creative writing projects, along with art posts and various blog posts, so if you liked what you saw, stay tuned! Cheers my dears!

Yay, thank you! And yes, I’ve signed up for blogging and writing 101; not sure what other courses there are that are available at the moment.
